Let’s Walk and Talk Tinnitus This Year

Whitstable Hearing tinnitus Walk

If you live with tinnitus, you’ll know how isolating it can feel. Sometimes the most helpful thing isn’t a clinical appointment, it’s simply being around people who get it.

That’s the idea behind our Tinnitus Beach Walks.

Led by Adam Chell, our lead audiologist, and run in partnership with the brilliant charity HI Kent, these are informal, relaxed meetups for anyone dealing with tinnitus. No agenda. No pressure. Just a gentle walk, fresh sea air, and good company.

The Walk

The route is a 3-mile loop starting right here at Whitstable Hearing. You’ll head along Tankerton seafront, past the skate park, then back along Marine Parade and past Whitstable Castle. It’s a lovely stretch of coastline and a genuinely easy walk. The route is suitable for wheelchair users, with a mild incline and plenty of stop-and-rest points along the way.

2026 Dates

  • Friday 27th March — 1.30pm
  • Friday 18th September — 1.30pm

Why Come?

Knowing you’re not alone in your experience can make a real difference. These walks are a chance to meet others, share what’s worked for you, and just talk — or not talk, if you’d rather just walk and listen to the sea.

Adam and the team at HI Kent will be there too, so if you do have questions, there’s plenty of knowledge on hand.

The walk runs from 1.30pm to around 3pm. Just turn up, everyone is welcome.
