A new wave of hearing care
When husband and wife Adam and Amy Chell founded Whitstable Hearing in 2023, they had a very special vision. One that meant they could use their years of expertise to not only help people with their hearing complaints, but also support them by breaking down the stigma around hearing loss.
From hearing checks to ear wax removal, their boutique clinic was created with the goal to become part of the local community as the place to go for hearing care. With state-of-the-art technology combined with a friendly service, this is a hearing clinic like no other – all with the added benefit of a fabulous sea view.
Your hearing matters
Our mission is to support and heal people with our expert, award-winning audiology care. We want to empower our clients to take control of their hearing journey, offering them bespoke help for hearing loss.
Many of our clients become isolated or withdrawn as a result of their hearing difficulties. Our aim is to help them enjoy every moment, by giving them the hearing checks and tools to help them start living their life to the fullest once more.
Meet the team
Together, husband and wife team Adam and Amy Chell have more than 20 years’ of experience in hearing care. Whitstable Hearing offers full-time audiologists and a nurse on site, enabling them to deliver exceptional hearing care and help for hearing loss.
An award-winning audiologist and a fearless pioneer, Adam was highly commended for the Rayovac ‘Audiologist Of The Year’ award in both 2017 and 2018 for his person-centred approach to hearing care.
Adam qualified as an audiologist in 2009 and worked his way through the ranks of the NHS to become chief paediatric audiologist before joining the largest hearing aid manufacturer in the world.
Afterwards, Adam became an expert in hearing technology and innovative audiological care in the independent sector.
Born and raised in Kent, Adam is delighted to bring Whitstable Hearing to the local community to offer exceptional personable care.
As our lead Nurse and specialist in earwax removal, Amy has cleaned up more than 1000 ears during her career.
After qualifying as a nurse in 2011, she later completed a course in ear care at London City University, where she learnt about aural health and ear wax removal techniques. She currently shares her time between Whitstable Hearing and her dedicated earwax clinics in Faversham and Rochester.
