What happens at a sound bath?
When you join our sound bath, you’ll be in a quiet, peaceful space. You’ll lie back or sit in a comfortable chair and listen to soft, calming sounds from crystal bowls.
The session lasts approximately 1 hour and takes place at our comfortable clinic. Our friendly team will guide you every step of the way so you can feel safe and comfortable and you will also be provided with complimentary refreshments.

Where does the group meet?
The group meets at the Whitstable Hearing, The Savoy, 5 Beach Walk, Whitstable, Kent CT5 2BP.
We conduct the session in our ‘gold room’ which is a large consulting room. It has comfortable chairs if you struggle to lay down and has mood lighting to assist with your journey to relaxation.
When does the class meet?
We run the class once a month on a Friday afternoon (usually at 4pm)
Who will be there to greet me?
You will be welcomed by the team at Whitstable Hearing and made to feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. Complimentary refreshments are provided.
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a relaxing experience where you either lie down or sit in a comfortable chair and listen to soothing sounds created by special instruments like singing bowls. It’s like a gentle massage using sound.
Can a sound bath make my tinnitus worse?
Tinnitus can be unpredictable and we never know what may trigger tinnitus to worsen. We ensure that the sound levels are at a safe listening level and our sessions are no longer than 60 minutes. Your attendance is at your own risk but we will do our best to protect you. We have a medical history and consent form for you to complete when booking on to the class so you are fully informed of the potential risks.
